Came here to eat with my family it was so delicious & the calamari & sauce was to die for. The burger with the truffle fries OMG!!! Everything was great.

Always love going to Cosimos in Newburgh. The lovely family style Italian restaurant is always hopping and was it ever on a Friday night. Not a table available when we got there had to wait a short time which was well worth it. My wife and I shared the fried calamari and boy was it ever succulent. I ordered the pasta Della nonna which comes with meatballs my favorite dish I might add, while my wife ordered the short ribs that is complimented with polenta and broccoli rabe. Both looked so delicious we took our time to savor each bite. If you are in the area this location is a must visit. Buon appetito

Cosimo's on Union delivers a delightful dining experience! I enjoyed the broccoli pie--it was deliciously cheesy and perfectly cooked. But the star of the meal was their bread basket served with a tomato salsa that was vibrant and zesty. The service was warm, attentive, and polite, making us feel right at home. A standout feature is their thoughtfulness with leftovers: they gladly provide boxes so you can take any extra food home. Highly recommended for a cozy meal with excellent flavors and hospitality!

We literally plan our drive to New Orleans around dinner at Cosimo's. It always amazes me that a chain restaurant (albeit a small regional one) can feel special but Cosimo's does. It's big and bright and full of pictures of the family, and it has the unmistakable sound of happy people eating. You can see it in the servers too, they're walking around smiling. Cosimo's menu is basically classic Italian-American, you're going to be familiar not surprised. And every single thing we have EVER had, in maybe 5 visits in as many years, has been wonderful. Tonight's was a superb (and big!) piece of salmon, crisp brown skin and barely cooked middle, over white beans and broccoli rabe. My husband had a very nice clams and white sauce over linguine. Everything else was great too. The sun-dried tomato bruschetta and bread they bring with the menus deserves special mention because it's wonderful and just appears. And great cappuccino. You knew by now we loved the service too and yes. They're friendly, competent, and they like it here, and it shows. Lastly but it's important--it's very reasonable. A small sinner for 2 was $86 all in, tax and tip. I hope you like it too.

I have reviewed this site in the past. WP parents, take note, this is tremendous site to take your cadet to dinner. There are more locations now, such as Central valley, near the outlets. Great Italian food. But, my son loves their NY strip and caprese salad. Authentic. Nice people. Good service. Reasonable prices. Good, safe areas. Very pleasant atmosphere. If the locals love this place, and they do, you will too.

Remarkable food! Service was really prompt and polite. Ambiance was nice. Now I see why this place is always busy. The food had great presentation and flavor. From the pork chop, ravioli, and crème brûlée, everything was phenomenal!

I've loved Cosimo's for years and after coming back for the first time in a long time, it has only improved. Good service, good vibe, great food. Highly recommend the spicy chicken fusilli!
